User Account Management Feature

Developed a user account feature that allowed users to manage their availability, clients, services, balance, issue reports, and other account-related tasks from one centralized location.

SeeGuru is a platform that provides a convenient and accessible way for people to learn new skills and expand their knowledge.

I had the opportunity to start working with SeeGuru from ideation from scratch, creating the platform's user interface and conducting user research to ensure a seamless user experience.

Assignment

Designing the platform interface according to the founder's specifications, conducting user research, and collaborating with a frontend developer to bring the design to life.

Ensure a seamless user experience that met the needs of both users and experts on the platform.

Objective

The objective of SeeGuru is to connect users with experts to help them solve problems and achieve their goals.

The platform is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to people of all backgrounds and skill levels.

My contribution

Research and analysis

Request

We conducted user research and consulted with customers to better understand their needs. For example, I conducted a manual usability test to evaluate the ease of use for the newly added custom service creation feature on the SeeGuru platform.

Outcomes

The results of the test led to improvements in the feature and decreased the workload for administrators, as providers were now able to create and manage their custom services independently, resulting in a better overall user experience for the platform.

Wizard to Help Users Choose the Right Expert

Problem

Users were having difficulty choosing the right expert for their needs, leading to frustration and potentially suboptimal consultation experiences. That was leading to a decrease in conversion rates on the platform.

Design Solution

We added a wizard that asks users a series of questions and recommends three suitable experts based on their answers, streamlining the selection process and improving the chances of a successful consultation.

Consolidating meeting discussions in a single chat

Problem

Users were frustrated by having to search through separate meeting chats to find information and materials.

Design Solution

We created a general chat where all discussions and materials between providers and clients are collected in one place, making it easier for users to access information and find what they need.

Responsive Design for Mobile Devices

I created a simplified, yet rich mobile experience by implementing responsive design for SeeGuru platform. This allowed users to easily access and use the platform on their mobile devices, improving their overall experience.

Design system development on SeeGuru platform

Working closely with a front-end developer, I led the development of a design system to ensure consistency and efficiency in implementing new functionality across the platform.

Results and impact

Reflecting on the project, there is room for future improvements in user research and testing to continue improving the user experience.

General Conclusion

Improving user experience and creating a design system greatly enhanced the platform's usability and reduced admin workload, leading to higher conversion rates and increased user satisfaction.

Conducting user research and usability testing allowed for targeted improvements, while creating a design system and managing projects improved consistency and efficiency in design.

Working closely with the CEO and founder provided valuable insights into business thinking and the importance of aligning product design with company goals.

Streamlining the Meetings Page for Improved User Experience

Problem

Users were confused by the original interface of the Meetings page, which included a switch between Guru and Client accounts, and a card with too many actions.

Design Solution

We redesigned the Meetings page to create a more user-friendly interface, where the Guru account complements the functions of the Client, and we simplified the meeting card by only showing fast actions, and added an accordion feature to expand and show more actions and info.
