SeeGuru mobile app simplifies appointment and service management for users on-the-go, with rich yet straightforward features from the desktop platform.

I had the opportunity to start working with SeeGuru from ideation from scratch, creating the platform's user interface and conducting user research to ensure a seamless user experience.

Assignment

Create a mobile app design for SeeGuru that provides a simplified yet rich user experience, allowing users to easily manage their appointments and services.

Consider incorporating key features from the desktop platform and conducting usability testing to ensure the design meets the needs of the target audience.

Objective

Allow users to manage their appointments and services on-the-go, providing them with a simplified and convenient experience that incorporates key features from the desktop platform.

This was aimed at improving user engagement and retention by making the platform more accessible and user-friendly.

Research and analysis

Request

Conduct user research and make the behavior analysis to better understand their needs and behaviors while using the SeeGuru platform on mobile devices.

Gain insights into users' usage patterns, pain points, and behaviors, for more informed design decisions when creating the mobile app.

Outcomes

Based on the user research and behavior analysis, we identified several key areas for improvement, such as simplifying the booking process and enhancing the search functionality. These insights were used to inform the design of the mobile app and improve the overall user experience.

Improving Meeting Management

Problem

Users had issues with identifying the status and duration of meetings and wanted to filter meetings by date.

Design Solution

We addressed these issues by highlighting meeting status in color and displaying meeting duration, as well as adding a filter by date feature.

Adding Chat Functionality

Problem

Customers need a way to communicate with their gurus and manage their conversations on-the-go, without having to use the desktop platform.

Also, users were frustrated by having to search through separate meeting chats to find information and materials.

Design Solution

We created a general chat where all discussions and materials between providers and clients are collected in one place.

We added a chat feature to the mobile app, allowing users to easily communicate with their gurus, view their conversation history, and receive real-time notifications for new messages.

Results and impact

Reflecting on the project, there is room for future improvements in user research and testing to continue improving the user experience.

General Conclusion

The design process helped identify key user needs and pain points, resulting in a more user-friendly and efficient platform in mobile app form.

These design improvements have led to increased engagement and higher user satisfaction, ultimately driving business growth for SeeGuru.

Simplifying Navigation on SeeGuru Mobile App

Problem

There were many categories and subcategories of services, making navigation complicated on the mobile app.

Design Solution

To address this issue, we implemented a search function that allowed users to search by parent category, subcategory, and service with filters and sorting options.
